Storytelling & Commision: From Script to Screen, Animatic 1

First animatic without sound, this requires a bit more of a trim to allow better timing. More of the frames towards the end need to be cleaned up as the 2 minutes do not allow for the slower pace that is desired.

Storytelling & Commision: From Script to Screen, Character Design - Thief revaluation

Upon receiving feedback I have decided to look at characters and rethink of the purpose that has been given to them. For the thief who will assume the roll of the Grim Reaper I have looked at depictions on the internet. Seeing these images I implemented this into the character. Using the previous work and new concept the thief's head resembles more of that of a skull following more medieval depictions while the clothing retains that of the janitor having a bony, tall and slender figure.

Storytelling & Commision: From Script to Screen, Environment & Character Design - Morgue & Thief

A long tight hallway making up the room of the morgue

The "Thief" being a janitor who is left to clean everything up at the end

Story Telling and Commission: Soundscape, Listening Exercise

Listening for noises inside Blue room of UCA Rochester campus for a greater understanding of ambient noise

humming of computer fans
radiator clicking and heating up
clicking of mouses
moving mouses along the surface of the wooden table tops
scrolling the mouse wheels
buzzing of drills from above
unscrewing of lid on plastic bottle, alongside drinking water
creaking of people upstairs
ruffle of coats and clothes
tapping of computer keys
dripping water in pipes
sighs of students
tapping on the desktop
people walking by outside, whistling, grunting, conversation
